Sharp Residence

Sharp ResidenceCoconut Grove, Florida

Sharp residence is located in Coconut Grove. Known as an old neighborhood hugging the coast, it has a high concentration of underground sedimentary rocks, making it ideal for heavy vegetation growth that creates a unique leafy environment. The two-story residence is designed to provide privacy towards the street, with solid walls perforated by punched openings and a very transparent side towards the backyard, enhancing the connection to the landscape, pool deck, and leafy surroundings. The residence features four bedrooms, a two-car garage, an office space, large living areas, and a guest cabana. A metal canopy frames the entrance, with a large glass pivot door at the end that provides inviting garden views beyond. The interior finishes and color palette were carefully chosen to complement the natural setting and landscape with exotic woods, stone, and exposed concrete elements.

PAMM Cucuyo

PAMM CucuyoMiami, USA

PAMM Cucuyo is an innovative outdoor mobile café designed by BBAmiami at the Perez Art Museum Miami. Cucuyo establishes a conversation with its context, the beautifully designed museum by Herzog and de Meuron, where the café is located. As it sits on the outdoor terrace overlooking the bay, it’s strong, self-contained elliptical shape that recalls eggs and cocoons stands in contrast to the rectilinear and orthogonal elements of the building. Produced entirely in stainless steel and 3D printed in the Netherlands by MX3D, the cafe is moveable, contains all the necessary equipment, adapts to special events, and can be disassembled. An AIA Award winner for its fantastic detailing, Cucuyo is an elegant and functional addition to the museum.

1000 Museum Restaurant

1000 Museum RestaurantMiami, Florida

Berenblum Busch Architects designed this unique restaurant experience in the iconic Museum Towers in Downtown Miami. Our project intention is to seamlessly blend the interior design with the building architecture by Zaha Hadid and create a natural and beautiful experience appealing to the human senses. Inspired by an Asian understanding of nature and space, we have selected raw and natural materials that shall be beautifully crafted, combining linen, concrete, wood, and cherry blossom. It will be a unique dining venue in Miami. It is experienced as a spatial garden of multiple facets of colors, such as pinks, reds, and greens, interplaying with lights, shadows, and natural materials.

Beachfront Residence

Beachfront ResidenceMiami Beach, Florida

BBAmiami was the executive architects for a new 7,000-sf luxury modern home, located in Altos del Mar in Miami Beach. This waterfront property consists of six-bedrooms with floor to ceiling windows, 5½ bathrooms, a full kitchen, and other unique amenities including a glass elevator to connect all floors. One of the home’s unique features is the main staircase that was intentionally built at a low angle to visually connect all levels as it invites guests to ascend to the upper floors and enjoy the view of the beach and sea beyond. The structure is completely done in steel, with poured architectural concrete and glass completing the exterior shell. The first-floor exterior deck has a covered outdoor kitchen and lounge area, a cabana, a sauna and a pool with a 60-foot swim lane. The rooftop deck holds incredible views from the deck and a full sized jacuzzi, perfect for entertaining. The property is surrounded by lush landscape for privacy with a garden leading straight to the beach. Photography provided by LPG/THE ASSOULINE TEAM.
